What Size Cubby Does Your Dog Need?
The Cubby has a wide, oval sleeping surface — ideal for dogs who like to stretch out rather than curl up. Measure the length of your dog from nose to tail when they’re lying flat, and match to the inner sleeping area below. If your dog is between sizes, go up.

Is this bed suitable for dogs who chew?
The Summer Cubby is suited to dogs who are past the destructive chewing phase. The cotton fabric is durable for normal everyday use, but it is not chew-proof. For dogs who are still active chewers, we recommend starting with a trampoline bed and transitioning to the Cubby once they’ve settled.
Does the foam hold its shape after washing?
Yes. The fibre fill is baffled — that means it’s stitched in sections so it can’t bunch up or shift to one side during washing. The Dunlop foam base is not machine washed, which protects its shape and the Ultra-Fresh treatment. Follow the care instructions and the Cubby will hold its form wash after wash.
Can it be used outdoors?
The Summer Cubby is designed for indoor use. The cotton fabric is not weather-resistant and should not be left in rain or direct sun for extended periods. For dogs in sheltered outdoor areas, consider the Oilskin Klam instead.
Is it suitable for a dog with allergies?
Yes — the Cubby is a good choice for allergy-prone dogs. The allergy-friendly fibre fill avoids common irritants, and the cotton cover is machine washable (cold/gentle) so you can launder it regularly to remove dust, pollen, and pet dander.
